Global Psychological eHealth Foundation is a not-for-profit organization engaged in global mental health research, advocacy and consulting as well as developing, promoting, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating impacts of innovative, evidence-based, easily scalable, and cost-effective e-mental health tools and related services geared at closing the psychological treatment gap for communities in low-, middle- and high-income countries.

The Global Psychological eHealth Foundation promotes and offers supportive text message and email messaging programs developed by the Global Mental Health Research Group via the ResilienceNHope online application.

Mental Health Literacy Resources

  • Depression

    Depression is a mental illness that significantly affects an individual’s mood, outlook on life, sleep, appetite, concentration, interest level and confidence. Depression can be mild, moderate, or severe and can be disabling and life threatening.

  • Anxiety

    Anxiety is an unpleasant emotional state in which individuals become fearful of mostly the unknown mostly about the future. Anxiety is usually accompanied by an emotional feeling of impending doom, including death, and is associated with some bodily discomfort.

  • Obsessive Compulsive Disorder

    Chronic condition associated with unwanted intrusive thoughts (obsessions) and associated excessive and unreasonable compulsive behaviours (compulsions) which cause marked distress and interferes with social and individual functioning.
